James Directed THE PRODUCERS at the ORB Theatre TOKYO.
He Directed and Choreographed NUNSENSE at The Legacy Theatre, BIG FISH at Hope Repertory Theatre and THE FULL MONTY at The Skylight Music Theatre, PEG O' MY HEART THE MUSICAL, at the June Havoc Theatre NYC, which won the MITF Best Musical Award.
James Choreographed the musicals THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD and OLIVER! at the historic Goodspeed Opera House (Best Choreography Nomination BroadwayWorld) and ANNIE at North Carolina Theatre Raleigh starring Tony Award Winner Karen Ziemba as Miss Hannigan.
He Choreographed the feature film "HUMOR ME" written by Sam Hoffman, starring Elliot Gould with Jemaine Clement , Annie Potts and Bebe Neuwirth. James was Broadway Asia's Tour Choreographer for the International Tour of "THE SOUND OF MUSIC" and was recently in California staging YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN the Musical at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts starring Sally Struthers.

MEL BROOKS – AFI LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD TELEVISION SPECIAL at the Dolby Theatre Hollywood, televised on TCM and TNT
He choreographed a K-POP number on the last season of MADAM SECRETARY (CBS) working with director Leslie Libman
James was thrilled to choreograph the opening number for New York City Ballet Principle Dancer Tiler Peck and Catfish, DWTS finalist Nev Schulman at Lincoln Center's Dance Against Cancer Gala 2021 and New York City Ballet Principle Dancer Maria Kowroski and Nev Schulman for Dance Against Cancer Gala 2022 at Alice Tully Hall. He also choreographed a short jazz number for TV Host Amanda Kloots (The Talk, DWTS) filmed on the famous NYC street LOT at CBS Studios, Hollywood.
James staged for film the gangster tap number Tain't Nobody's Biz-ness for the American Dance Machine for the 21st Century honoring Susan Stroman and the Late Nick Cordero.
Director and or Choreographer of US National tours, Tokyo, Ogunquit Playhouse productions of MEL BROOKS - THE PRODUCERS, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN THE MUSICAL. James has worked closely with TOHO inc in Tokyo recreating choreography for their original production of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY.
